The main offices of The Royal Society are located on Carlton House Terrace, just off Waterloo Place, between Pall Mall and The Mall.
It is seven minutes walk to Piccadilly Circus underground station and eight minutes to Charing Cross mainline and underground stations, or 25 minutes through St James's Park to Victoria. Trafalgar Square, and all bus services through it, are also very close.

The PowerMEMS school and conference banquet dinner will be in South Kensington held at Imperial College London and the Science Museum respectively, just a short five minute walk from South Kensington tube station. The station is served by the Circle, District and Piccadilly lines, as well as a taxi rank and buses which run throughout the night.
